It is the responsibility of the runner to assess his/her own fitness to run.  Also to ensure suitable clothing is worn for the weather conditions. All runners must follow marshals instructions.

Drink Station

A drink station will be situated at approx 3 miles. An extra station may be added if conditions dictate.

All property left unattended at the venue is at the owner’s risk

If you belong to a LRRL club then your race numbers will be distributed through a club representative on the day. Otherwise collect from the registration point. Your disposable timing chip will be on the back of your race number. Do not remove, fold or crease the chip as this will stop it working and your time will not be registered.

Please if you can, approach the venue via Tilton and the Oakham Road. There will be signs to direct you into the parking area which is on grass. Please car share where possible.
If using the A47 please use the East Norton turn towards Loddington.

There is ample parking. Do NOT use the parking areas at the Abbey and do not under any circumstance park on the surrounding roadside. These are country lanes which are very narrow and you may block access for emergency vehicles, the route or, after to roads have reopened, other road users.

Toilets will be on site and light refreshments will be available to purchase. If the weather is set to be unkind we will provide a marque as shelter and changing. In any other case there will be no changing facilities. Clubs are welcome to bring tents. There is ample space to pitch, please follow marshals instructions.

Awards in the form of special Launde 6 trophies will be presented as soon as possible after the finish.
Any runner that finishes in a position that qualifies for more that one individual prize shall be awarded just one prize. Age category winners will be awarded the prize for the category in which they entered.
